Planted on April 14, 1995 by the Schwäbischer Albverein Bitz for the 100th anniversary of the local group.
In 1606, the market stone replaced an old oak tree here, which served as a boundary marker.
Around 1606: border between Württemberg, Zollern and von Speth.
Until 1945: Württemberg / Prussia border (Hohenzollern)
1995: Boundary of the counties "BL" and "Sig"
Border point of 4 municipalities:
Bitz, Burladingen, Gausselfingen and Neufra
