Hiking
In 1898, the mill and chapel became the property of the brothers Sjang and Dorus Maes, who were beer brewers at De Kroon in Stramproy. The chapel is named after this family.
In 1950, the church council commissioned artist Cor van Geleuken to build a new chapel.
