A white cast-iron Coalpost in Wormley Wood; these boundary marks were set up by the Corporation of the City of London under the various coal duties Acts. They were found on the outskirts of Greater London and known as "Coal posts", "Coal tax posts", "Coal duty posts", or "City posts".
