  • The Lord Leycester Hospital (often known simply as Lord Leycester) is one of the best-preserved examples of medieval court architecture in England and a charity supporting former soldiers. It is located in Warwick, England, next to the West Gate on the High Street. It is a Category I listed building.[1] The hospital is an outstanding and internationally renowned Warwick landmark. Buildings and civic activities have taken place on the site for nearly 900 years, beginning with the chapel built in 1126. The site was donated to the United Guild of the Holy Trinity and St. George in the 14th century by the 12th Earl of Warwick. The Guild Hall, Great Hall and Master's House were built in the late 15th century. Over the centuries, the ancient buildings and 500 year old gardens have been visited by many famous visitors such as Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde, etc.
