Fieldstone building from the 13th century, oldest building in Grüneberg. Originally built as a "fortified church". The two bells date from 1750. 1982 the roof collapsed. Inauguration 1986

After the church ceiling collapsed in June 2023, a major fundraising campaign was launched to save the church. In December 2023, the renovation work was completed and the church could be reopened.
The early Gothic village church in Grüneberg is one of the oldest buildings in the town. The fieldstone church was built in the second half of the 13th century and remodeled in the Baroque style in the middle of the 18th century.
