If you come from Zétrud-Lumay, you can take a look at the Trislaine just before the area. There is a small bridge over the stream if you turn left at a crossroads with a path and the cycle path (with the many signs). The nature reserve itself is unfortunately not accessible, but you can get an idea with the occasional - limited - view. 'Les Marais de Genneville' are the oldest nature reserve managed by Natagora in Walloon Brabant. The site is located deep in the Chebais valley, a tributary of the Grand Gete. A small stream, the Trislaine, rises in the reserve, in this very marshy part of the valley, and the source was once used by the villagers. You will find a variety of marsh biotopes: marsh forests, wet meadows and reed beds, with an abundance of plants that are typical of these environments, such as reed and marsh loosestrife. Watercress and water mint also grow in the Trislaine.

Wet nature reserve formed by the Trislaine, which has its sources there.

Nice quiet path between Ste Marie Geest and the hamlet of Genville.
