Expect long grass and a rutted surface. It’s tricky to cycle along but do-able, and there’s plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities.

This stretch amid reeds and next to the water was a slow-paced, serene pleasure riding through on a gravel bike, mostly on grass. In mid-April, the grass wasn't particularly long and the ground fairly dry. It probably gets boggy after substantial rainfall.
