The Wurmenveld nature reserve in Zuid-Kennemerland National Park contains plant species that normally do not occur in a healthy dune area. These plants, called invasive exotic species, displace species that are characteristic of healthy dunes. That is why we are going to remove these exotics in November and December and the area will be given a makeover.
