Beautiful scenic road which traces the course of the Tapu River. It’s pretty quiet and reduces to a single lane in places, so watch out for the occasional bit of on-coming traffic. It’s sealed all the way from Tapu to the Rapaura Watergardens, a hidden gem with a stunning walk, waterfalls and even on-site accommodation (which is exceptional!).
