The Karnak Temple in Luxor is the largest and most beautiful preserved temple in Egypt. In my opinion, visiting with a tour group is not really ideal because you are rushed. We bought our own tickets and went in alone, which was the right decision.

The impressive light show starts in the evening at 6 p.m. However, you have to leave the temple again and buy new tickets. This is a bit inconvenient, but everyone can decide for themselves what they like better.

In summary: Egypt without Luxor and the Karnak Temple? That's just not possible! It was an unforgettable experience!
