Very beautiful village in golden stones which are limestones rich in iron oxides. Their characteristic golden color comes from these oxides. These stones were widely used for construction in the Pays des Pierres Dorées, located northwest of Lyon. The villages in this region are built with this unique material. The architecture in Golden Stones offers adequate resistance while adding a distinctive aesthetic to these villages.
