Cycling
This is the highest bivouac on Etna at around 1910 meters above sea level. The bunk bed and woodshed were recently built during the last renovation. It is one of the most scenic bivouacs.

Hiking
Bivouac on the western side of Etna, with spectacular views both in front (of the Sicilian hinterland) and behind the refuge itself (of Etna, the central crater). A fireplace and two beds, and plenty of firewood in the woodshed. One of the most beautiful Etna refuges. Equipped with a cistern to collect rainwater.
