The tiny village consists of only two inhabited houses and one abandoned building, but is accessible via a public "road" (a poorly maintained dirt road). It's a so-called outbuilding (Vorwerk), which existed as early as the Middle Ages under the name Grieben, but later fell into disuse.

There's a small parking lot near the curious, dilapidated cemetery, and from there you can quickly reach the beautiful Wittwesee lake on foot (an insider tip!). At the turnoff to the cemetery, a large information board with photos highlights fascinating details!
