In 1560, a water mill powered by the energy of the Myśla River was built, and a settlement called Neumühl (New Mill) soon developed around it. Currently, the Small Hydroelectric Power Plant operates in the place of the former mill. One of the buildings of the former mill complex has been restored and serves as a guesthouse.
