Hiking
In the Westerpark you have two allotment garden complexes: Allotment Garden Association Sloterdijkermeer and Tuinpark Nut en Genoegen. From March 1, the gates will be opened and everyone can walk here, enjoy the peace and participate in activities. Even if you are not a member. 'These gardens have been there for 100 years. Because everyone had their own garden and house and there was no public planning, there is absolutely no monoculture with tight hedges. You see an enormous diversity of plants, trees, animals and garden houses.'
