The train arrived in Rajadell in 1860 when the section between Manresa and Lleida built by the Company of the Saragossa Railway in Barcelona was put into service. The station's dogwood (Celtis australis) was a tree found in the municipality of Rajadell (el Bages). It was withdrawn due to its fall hazard in October 2018.
