Had excellent homemade ice cream. Unfortunately we were on the way otherwise I would have liked to try the cakes. Definitely worth a detour from the Danube Cycle Path.

The Eiscafe Melina is a great place to go for ice cream, coffee, cake and, most recently, bubble waffles, which unfortunately I haven't tried yet. I think it's particularly good that the ice cream isn't too sweet and the flavors vary constantly. You can find the ice cream cafe on Instagram at @eiscafe_melina. They always keep you up to date with opening times and the selection of cakes and ice cream. So it's worth taking a look in advance to increase anticipation for the break 😜
