The Ev. Rodleben village church is essentially a late Romanesque stone building with a nave, retracted rectangular choir and apse.

There was originally a portal and the priest's gate on the north side.

There is a Romanesque window opening in the apse, which was redesigned by Thomas Kuzio in 2010.

In 1626 the church was badly damaged in a battle for the Elbe Bridges. The reconstruction took place until 1700.

The half-timbered roof turret over the western part with a solid west wall and the segment-arched window openings date from this time.

The interior of the church is designed as a flat-roofed hall with a horseshoe gallery.

There are two bells in the church tower.

The older bronze bell comes from Brant Beddingk's workshop and was cast in 1516.

The smaller second bell was cast in 1999 and is a foundation of the political community of Rodleben.

The two-manual organ was restored in 1994. It has 13 registers.

A church building association was founded in 2002, which, among other things, coordinates construction and renovation measures.

Extensive renovation work on the building structure took place from 2002 to 2005.

The church was protected against rising damp and a path was created around the church.

The tower was completely renovated in 2004 and a new belfry was installed.

The bell from 1516 has also been restored.

The pulpit altar and the baptismal font were removed from the church in 1972.

The interior renovation took place from 2010 to 2012.

In 2010 the new altar window (Easter window - designed by Thomas Kuzio, own glass painting, FG, executed by Derix / Taunusstein) was installed.

In 2012 the church received a new baptism, a new pulpit and a new atar, made from the wood of the former Mühlstedt belfry (design and execution: DS Architects Köthen, Reiner Schmidt / Erfurt).

In 2013, the new candlestick for the Easter candle and the new lectern as well as new seating were added.

Between 2013 and 2015, new vestments for the altar and pulpit were purchased. Gudrun Willenbockel from Magdeburg was responsible for the designs and execution.
