Tips
There is not much to see of the castle ruins, a few walls of the upper castle are still standing and are freely accessible. The lower castle is largely privately owned and cannot be entered. Below the castle ruins is a very nice vantage point that offers a great view over Osternohe and the surrounding area. You should definitely stop by here, sit down and enjoy the stunning view while taking a break on the bench.

A staircase leads to a wonderful vantage point with a bench directly under the castle ruins. The existing part can not be officially entered.
