1st highlight on the way over the Arthur's Pass coming from Christchurch. Definitely worth a stop. On some rocks you can climb up.

Castle Hill is located on State Highway 73, over Athur's Pass.
The hill got its name from the large number of differently sized limestone rock blocks scattered around the area. This collection is reminiscent of an old, dilapidated castle. A worthwhile stop!
