The Pennsylvania Game Commission created Shohola Marsh Reservoir, a 1,137-acre manmade lake, in 1967 to help the waterfowl population in the area. Today, fishermen come to the reservoir for bluegill, largemouth bass, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, and largemouth bass. The lake, long, narrow, and shallow, has three designated boat launches, and cyclists can enjoy biking along the lake on a paved road.
