The Homestead Trail is a quiet wooded path that connects with several other trails in the Wilderness Conservation area, which is north of the Millstone Conservation Area in Essex, Massachusetts. This is a great option if you want to avoid some of the crowds at the Monoliths and other nearby areas. It eventually merges with the Bear's Den Trail, which you can take to either the Bishop's Grave Cartway, or connect it to the Pulpit Rock loop, or the Old Manchester-Essex Road.
