Very tough path, at least for me. Impossible to do with a bike without an engine, unless obviously getting off the bike. In any case, I wasn't able to get to the Fontanelle refuge even with the e-MTB, due to excessive slopes and very rough surfaces. Beyond this, even though it was very close to arriving, the route was covered in frozen snow, so I had to give up. The first two thirds of the route from the Fountain of Winter are doable, but for the last third or so you can only go by foot in the absence of snow. The descent, with good brakes, however, is a lot of fun.
