Popular options include combining sections of the 10 miles of hiking/biking trails to form loops, often incorporating the scenic paths along the Loxahatchee River. Many visitors enjoy exploring the trails that lead to the historic Seminole War battlefield and the Florida cracker farmstead.

Arriving earlier in the day is often recommended to secure parking and enjoy a more tranquil experience on the trails.

Are there any specific routes recommended for families with young children?

The park's flat terrain and well-maintained trails make it very family-friendly. For young children, consider shorter loops that explore areas around the Florida cracker farmstead or the Seminole-style chickees, which offer interesting historical points. Are there any hidden gems or less-known historical sites within Riverbend Park?

Beyond the well-known Seminole War battlefield and the Florida cracker farmstead, the park contains Indian middens, which are ancient shell mounds offering a glimpse into the area's indigenous history.
