History of the Castello di QuirraThe castle was then handed over to the House of Aragon after the Spanish and Catalan invasion in 1324. In 1363 the Catalan Berenguer Carròs i Llòria became Count of Quirra and thus the owner of the castle. And then over a century or two a series of legends began to be told.
