Cultural monument in Wilhelmshaven, Lower Saxony.
Built in the 16th century as a municipal warehouse with a large storage facility. In the 18th century, with the expansion of the nearby Cannstatt harbor, the warehouse gained in importance. From around 1880, the Jewish religious school was housed on the first floor and from 1899, the Cannstatt Evangelical Association's public café was housed on the ground floor, at which time the ground floor was redesigned with the Cannstatt coat of arms. It has been in municipal hands continuously since it was built. The long-standing name as the "Old Hospital" in the context of the "Historical Trail" proved to be historically untenable.
