Late 2025. Took a boat from Muang Khua to M. Ngoy then biked to Nong Khiaw. Nice ride, bumpy dirt road, only one river crossing by M. Ngoy. More traffic close to Nong Khiaw. Lots of up and downs.

M. Ngoy is a nice place to spend a couple of days, great viewpoint hikes, food and lots of guesthouses. Kayaked from Sopchem, it was great. Quite touristy. Similarly good views and hikes in Nong Khiaw.
