With its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone appearing like fire when sunlight is reflected upon them, Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest Nevada State Park. Containing a visitor's center where you can inform yourself about the geology, prehistory and ecology of the park, which natural landmarks date back more than 2,000 years.
