MORMON CASTLE (Mormonenschlösschen), Oliwa, Olivaer Rosengasse (ul. Kwietna 23). An estate in the Oliwski Potok Valley, on the site of Mill XI (Młyny na Potok Oliwski and its tributaries). A former iron forge (called Hungerhammer), probably active since the end of the 15th century. In 1873, the unprofitable mill was demolished. On its foundations, the last owner of the mill, Napromski (died before 1897), built in 1874 an eclectic villa with elements of English Gothic, commonly called Mormonenschlösschen. In the years 1928–1939 it was owned by the management of the bank in Magdeburg, Bomke. Currently a residential house. The villa is a two-story building with a hipped roof, a three-story tower with a hipped roof, formerly with a spire, and a porch with neo-Gothic elements. Next to the villa there are two farm and residential houses from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
