This ancient train station was the arrival point of many New York vacationers who enjoyed swimming and rafting in the merging creeks of the Esopus and Beaverkill. Nowadays, only one railway structure remains, and the site has been set up with a big park that serves perfectly as a picnic place. There's parking places available and the views of the Ashokan Reservoir invite for a ride by the shore.
