The nearby swimming pool of Auenstein is heated by the hot water of the nearby river power station Auenstein-Rupperswil. Even in winter there is water in the pool. However, the swimming pool closed its doors during the winter months. Both the power plant and the swimming pool are located in the Auenschutzpark Aargau.
