Hiking
This lake is very convenient if you arrive late to visit Bear Butte. It has a paid campsite on its northern part. The Centenaire trail passes nearby. You can therefore take time to visit the natural site and the museum of the small state park, sleep at the campsite and the next day really start hiking.
