Bays Lake is one of the most scenic lakes in Jefferson Park. At an elevation of 5,835 feet, Bays Lake typically isn't ice-free until the middle of July. There are nice rock cliffs to dive off of in the summer and plenty of campsites. Campfires are banned throughout the area.
