The McDermitt Hot Springs are also known as Easterday Hot Springs or Lucky Seven Hot Springs. Back in the day there was a hot springs resort that burned down. The hot springs are the remains of that resort and appear more like a creek winding through the high desert and sagebrush. With 125 degrees F, the water emerges from Hot Spring Hills in numerous spots.

Just around the corner is the Blue Mountain Mine. For a fee, you can rockhound for Agate and Jasper in the private mine.
