Sete Cidades (German: Seven Cities) is a Freguesia in the Ponta Delgada district on the Portuguese Azores island of São Miguel with 799 inhabitants
It is located at an altitude of around 260 m inside the volcanic Caldeira Sete Cidades on the edge of the lake of the same name. The name of the town refers to legends of the Seven Cities in the Atlantic and appears more frequently in the Portuguese-speaking area.
