The foundation was already in place.
When the 24m high and very slim church tower was being built, concerns arose. It might not be stable enough, might start to sway and then fall over.
This danger seems to have become a reality in 1963. One of the three bells is turned off.
In 1966, a compensation pendulum system was installed in the church tower, which to this day prevents vibrations above the prescribed limit values.
