Pas de la Casa

An adventure ski resort town on the banks of the d'Arige river which turns hiking and biking heaven in the summer season, with plenty of trails to explore in the surrounding mountains.

Pas de la Casa, meaning "House Pass", owes its name to a small shepherd's house that was located in the area. This area was historically sparsely inhabited due to its harsh climate and high altitude (about 2,080 metres above sea level).It was during the 20th century that Pas de la Casa began to develop significantly, especially due to the construction of the road connecting Andorra to France in 1933. This facilitated access and encouraged the growth of the local population and economy.

Ski slopes in summer are adapted to create downhill circuits for mountain bikes. These descents are designed for different skill levels, from beginners to experts, and allow cyclists to enjoy the adrenaline of going down the mountains at high speed.Bike Park: In Grandvalira, of which Pas de la Casa is a part, there is a Bike Park with multiple downhill and enduro circuits, jumps, ramps and technical areas, designed for cyclists looking for varied challenges in their MTB practice.The chairlifts used in winter for skiing, in summer transport cyclists and their bikes to the tops of the mountains, from where they can start their descents
