In the heart of the western side of Monte Inici, about 500 meters above sea level, there is the historic site called Case Alliata.
It is a farmhouse from the 19th century, originally covering approximately 400 hectares.
Active until the 1950s, the complex is now managed by the Forestry Corps of the Sicilian Region which requisitioned it in 1980 to increase the Sicilian forest heritage.
