Tamarack Lakes are three blue alpine lakes sitting in a granite cirque at the base of Broken Finger Peak. This is a precious hike found in the Rock Creek Valley, serving a good amount of distance and altitude, where you might find some solitude going up to the valley. On the way back, you can choose to go back through the same way or make a loop to Dorothy Lake.
