Very nice and lively little market hall with everything the Mediterranean heart desires. The air is full of all sorts of spices and fresh fruits and vegetables. Various small stalls with regional goods, ranging from wood carvings to handmade jewelery.

This on Kos is quite modest.
In Crete bze. Rhodes is much larger with countless stalls selling local products, from freshly caught fish to handicrafts (no cheap tourist goods).
