The Memorial Cross is a monument that commemorates the victims of the First World War. It was built in 1923 on a hill overlooking the Meuse valley, near the village of Falmignoul. This place also offers an exceptional panorama of the Meuse and the surrounding countryside. There you can see Freÿr Castle, a Renaissance castle with beautiful gardens, and Freÿr Rocks, impressive cliffs popular with climbing enthusiasts. You can also admire the village of Waulsort and Waulsort Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery dating from the 10th century.
