The Spelonk cave is the largest of a series that can be found in the middle terrace wall on the northeastern corner of Bonaire. In the period of time when the middle terrace was still at sea level, this cave was formed by waves, wearing the limestone away. In the front section of the cave, there are many large rock columns of eroded stone. Fresh stalagmites and stalactites can still be found growing in the, difficult to reach, rear section of the cave.

Cycling
Great cave, which is actually best reached by bike or on foot. You have to be prepared for a long bumpy journey in complete solitude. At the cave you are also completely alone with the bats. Great experience!
