The Cañon de Valle Trail, or just the Valle Trail, climbs a confluence toward a long, rounded ridgeline. From the trail you get great views of the Cerro Grande, Pajarito Mountain, the Jemez Mountains and the town (and military base) of Los Alamos. There are tall pine trees that dot the otherwise open and grassy landscape, which often has wildflowers in the spring.
