    Tips

    January 9, 2024

The Rio de las Vacas is a river running through the Santa Fe National forest woods and meadows. It is scenic and clear, but keep in mind, that if you're collecting drinking water, that there are cows around. So be sure to bring the proper filters and chemicals for the possible contamination of water. For day hikes, it might be better to bring your own purified water.
