Fondi

Fondi, a small town nestled in Schilpario, represents the starting point for various excursions, including the one that leads to the suggestive Cimon della Bagozza refuge and the picturesque Campione refuge. The buildings that make up this complex date back to the era when mining dominated the region. The history of Fondi is intrinsically linked to the industrial past, reflected in the structures that still today bear witness to the fervor of that period.
In the heart of this town stands a church dedicated to Santa Barbara, built after the war to commemorate those who fell both in battle and in the workplace.

Very pretty hamlet of Schilpario: the road that goes up to Passo del Vivione is closed right here in winter and you can only go up on foot or on skis. The first stretch is in the woods and is often frozen, you need to be careful.

Beautiful village nestled in the coniferous forest. The small houses present are really well cared for, all with stone walls. Some at the time of writing are also being renovated, essential to not lose the historical traces of our territory
