Pajarito Mountain, just west of Los Alamos, New Mexico, stands at 10,440 feet is a popular local ski area in the winter and hiking destination in the summer. From this summit you get great views down to Valles Calderas National Preserve from the backside of the ski area. This is a great place to take some photos and enjoy the views before continuing on your hike.
