Sightseeing destination with adjoining cafeteria catering. Great view over the lake. Well-attended with classic day trip weather.

The adventure wood ball is 40 meters high and has a diameter of almost 50 meters. The way up has a maximum gradient of 6% and is about 700 meters long.

"The largest walk-in wooden adventure ball in the world" - this is how it is advertised. And yes, it's huge and very impressive when you stand in front of it. Guided (you have to book) or unguided you get information about astronomy and other scientific topics. There are also exercise and experience stations along the flat path upwards. At the top of the 40m high and 50m wide ball there is almost always a gentle breeze. The view really reaches far - and vice versa you can see the sphere from a distance. For the way down you can choose between the way and the slide - no question for children. Provided that you have taken a slide with you;)

In addition to the actual sphere, there is also gastronomy (canteen with interior and beer garden, delicious dishes) and a small collection of art objects: seating and art objects to marvel at. Since parking around the lake is now generally forbidden and is only allowed in paid parking lots - which are now abundant - you don't have to worry about parking spaces (at least close to the balls), but have small change with you. I think the card works too.

Even if the entrance is not cheap, the view - in nice cloudless weather - goes really far. During the ascent there are always boards that convey knowledge e.g. B. Earth curvature and foresight - which you can then experience directly yourself later.
