From the church square in Montescudaio you have a great view of the coastal region of Cecina. You just need to look for the church if you are nearby. By the way, the church is called Santa Maria Assunta. From 1416 this church was called Sant'Andrea in Castello as it is now and before. In 1846 the church fell victim to an earthquake, as did the upper part of the town. It was rebuilt between 1854 and 1857.
