The mysterious stone reliefs Buduruwagala - the stone paintings were struck in a granite rock and look sublime. There are seven figures and are dominated by a standing Buddha in the middle. At 17 meters, this Buddha is the largest in Sri Lanka.

Buddha statues carved into rock. The largest measures 17 meters. One of Sri Lanka's kings had planned to build a temple here, but the king had to leave the country due to acts of war and the temple complex was never completed.
