At 2,707 meters above sea level, the Cima dei Preti is the highest peak in the Carnic Prealps and the Friulian Dolomites, as well as the fourth peak in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is located on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

From the south side, the climb is more physical than technical, as you have to advance through rocky and steep terrain; from the north side, it is also possible, but you already enter mountaineering territory. The view from the top is extraordinary. However, if you are not comfortable with heights, I suggest avoiding the final climb, as the view from the pass is equally as stunning.
